 Often called “The Family Beach” the town of Surfside is located just a few minutes south of Myrtle Beach, SC. The distance away from Myrtle Beach offers a great weekend or family get a way that is close enough to take advantage of all of the Myrtle Beach tourist attractions.

 The slower pace of Surfside adds to its charm and has made for a great vacation spot and highly sought after area for a permanent residence. There are no high rise condo developments in Surfside Beach, SC. Most of the community is low density, with condos and villas. Most residents started off as vacationers and didn’t want to leave.
